Karl-Michael Sala is a former bass guitarist & high-harmony back-

jade guitar up vocalist for Omega Jade. That popular music & dance band, in 1975, in Montana, served as the warm-up group for Styx, REO Speedwagon, Dr. Hook & the Medicine Show & Rare Earth. In July 1974, in Great Falls, Montana, while stationed at Malmstrom Air Force Base, Karl (then known as “Mike” investigated & ultimately joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. These are also known as the “Mormons” due to the Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ). Having subsequently desired to then serve a mission, Karl trained another bass player to take his place.

1976-77: Elder Sala was known as a very successful missionary in Germany. Long, but great story… Now, Karl does some great solos, harmonies & bass runs within international online & offline database & image-bases.

So thankful that we are able to work with Karl-Michael Sala, just 45 minutes away from us and a phone call when necessary. He’s been helping Walter work on his Promnitz Family line. He was hired on at Ancestry when they first started their European research group. He makes excellent and very logical conclusions. He suffered a T[B]I [in 1995] … Ancestry decided to let him go. Just received our newest client’s $3,000 retainer. He found me by having googled “German Genealogist” That’s what I’m talkin’bout{:>)

We occasionally need a USA &/or European records searcher, runner, etc. to research, copy & digitalize for us some images within books & microforms IN SLC @ the FHL & at records repositories across the USA, Canada & Europe!

Now then, who is in SLC & is willing to do some occasional research for us in Germanic or other European records & posting them to m/y/our dropbox.com or email or whatever is necessary. We can pay you with a check, but would prefer the ease of PayPal.com.

So, set up your account there–if you’ve not already done so. State your rates, but make sure that it is NO LESS THAN than $10/hr.{:>) You should NOT be working for less than that–haha–like WE sometimes do. Right, Michael W. McCormick?

I still do some pro bono work, but ’tis now WE who choose what, where, when & for whom.

Here is my 1994 10-year renewal, which was–after a 1995 traumatic brain injury–ultimately stripped from me about 1996. No matter. I’ve had more success after my near-death experience than before it{:>)

For the keyword “german genealogist,” my webmaster has had my WordPress blog SEO’d, i.e. search-engine optimized, for several years now. Results: a few clients @ a few hundred $; a few @ $1,000; 1 @ $34,400 (over 2 years); another @ $20,000 (over 1 year). I wish I could say that acquiring such well-paying clientele is happening more than that. Nonetheless, I do not intend to ever shut it down, but may alter how it works & its focus. Those clients, of course, did not offer those retainers up front. They still had to be “sold.” As we were successful, they ordered more research in numerous villages of Germany, Poland & Lithuania (mostly Prussia & non-Prussia provinces). No, I did not want the keyword “German Genealogy.” for that would have brought on too many without the capital to spend for Germany Genealogy research.

So, long story short: We will now only accept retainers in increments of $1,000. How many thousands can you budget? It is said by many that we SAVE our clients thousands of $, while obtaining what they seek in The Old World.

If you have a budget of at least $1,000, please call 480-245-0879. Think that is too much? Ha! The research arm of Ancestry.com wants $2,500 to start a European research project!
For us: If research is required on-site in Europe, then a minimum $10,000 retainer is required. Why? So that we might exhaust as much of the parish registers in various villages & parishes for as many ancestral families as possible!
